
Owendale, MI - Officials with Silver Bullet Speedway in Michigan's "thumb region" have released the 2025 schedule of events. The 19 date calendar includes regular racing on Saturday nights from IMCA Modifieds, Michigan Street Stocks, Pro Late Models, Road Warriors, Bullet Stocks, and Mini Wedges. Special events for the Great Lakes Lightning, Traditional, and Super Sprints are also on the schedule alongside two Super Late Model specials and other novelty nights of racing.
The 72nd Annual Opening Night is scheduled for Saturday, April 26th with a full 6-in-1 program. On Saturday, May 3rd the action returns with a Best Looking Car Contest and Spectator Drags. The Great Lakes Lightning Sprints roll in on Saturday, May 10th with the IMCA Modifieds taking the night off. Saturday, May 17th is Silver Bullet Speedway Hall of Fame induction nigh and then on Saturday, May 24th just $10 gets fans through the front gate for Fan Appreciation Night. The Pro Late Models take Saturday, May 31st off for the second appearance of the Great Lakes Lightning Sprints.
Fans should bring their black pens and racing gear on Saturday, June 7th for Autograph Night. June 14th, Ken Schrader is scheduled to appear again at 'The Bullet'. The Great Lakes Traditional Sprints stop on Saturday, June 21st giving the IMCA Modifieds the night off. Then, on Saturday, June 28th the $3,000 to win $300 to start Late Model Extravaganza headlines the night's action.
Saturday, July 5th is Fireworks Night Sponsored by Pyro Paradise. The kids get the spotlight on Saturday, July 12th during Kids Night. a $5 entry for kids plus bike races highlight the schedule that night. The Great Lakes Traditional Sprints are back on Saturday, July 19th with IMCA Modifieds taking the hiatus. Finally, on Saturday, July 26th the second and Super Late Model Extravaganza for $3,000 to win and $300 to start.
August begins on Saturday, the 2nd with the 2nd Annual Leo Yakes Memorial. Also tapped as the Michigan Auto Racing Fan Club Night, All-American Trucks invade from Owosso and Birch Run Speedways, plus topless night (for the race cars). The Great Lakes Super Sprints make their only appearance of the season on Saturday, August 9th. Racing takes a pause on Saturday, August 16th but returns with another $10 Fan Appreciation Night on Saturday, August 23rd. The All-American Trucks are back on Saturday, August 30th along with Spectator Drags & Shopping Cart Races.
The Silver Bullet Speedway season ends on Saturday, September 6th during Championship Night for all six divisions PLUS the Great Lakes Traditional Sprints season finale.
