Owosso Speedway Announces Auto Value as Presenting Sponsor of Owosso 500 Series

Owosso, MI - On Saturday during the 8th Annual Michigan Auto Racing Fan Club Bowling Tournament at Riverbend Bowl in Corunna, Rex Wheeler, owner of Owosso Speedway announced that Auto Value Bumper-to-Bumper will serve as the title sponsor for the 2025 Owosso 500 Series for Outlaw Super Late Models. Jeff Finley, promoter of the 3rd Annual Bob Finley Memorial, which will be part of the Owosso 500 Series, joined Wheeler on the Horsepower Happenings Facebook Live broadcast to make the announcement.


In a special interview during the Bowling Tournament, Wheeler talked with Horsepower Happenings', Zach Hiser, about the title sponsor change in 2025. The Auto Value Owosso Speedway 500 Series events will pay a minimum of $10,000 to win with a $10,000 to win Championship Prize at the end of the season.


"We're really excited to have Auto Value on board," said Wheeler on Saturday. "Todd [Leimenstoll, President of Auto Wares] and I, when we met, we clicked. It was just a good fit."


The Auto Value Owosso 500 Series season begins on Saturday, May 17th with the Humane Society 100, the 3rd Annual Bob Finley Memorial on Wednesday, June 18th, Camp Owosso 100 on Saturday, July 26th, the 14th Annual Ron Hauser Memorial 100 on Saturday, August 23rd, and the Owosso Nationals on Saturday, September 20th.
