Crystal Motor Speedway Releases 2025 Schedule of Events

Crystal, MI - Officials at Crystal Motor Speedway have released the 2025 schedule of events. The full schedule features 30 scheduled race nights as well as several additional events like Mod Bogs and Monster Truck Shows. The season's theme is "Racin' Done Right - Every Saturday Night".


April begins with a test and tune on April 5th & 6th a week prior to the scheduled opening night on Saturday, April 12th featuring the regular show of Michigan Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Pro Stocks, Street Stocks, Sport Compacts, and Mini Wedges. On Saturday, April 19th the Michigan CAT Great Lakes Super Sprints Presented by Engine Pro & ARP make their 2025 Michigan debut with IMCA Mods, Pro Stocks, Street Stocks, and Sport Compacts on the schedule. Saturday, April 26th a regular night of racing returns with a Mud Bog Sunday afternoon on the 27th.


May 3rd is a regular Saturday night of racing with a Celebration of Moms on Saturday, May 10th. Moms who bring a child will receive free entry to the races; the Midwest Dirt Compact Touring Series will also be in action. A Doin' it Right Saturday Night show returns on May 17th with a Monster Truck Throwdown on Sunday afternoon. Saturday, May 24th the Great Lakes Lightning Sprints make their first appearance alongside a regular Saturday night line-up and Fireworks. Kid's Night is May 31st with Autographs in the pits prior to the night's racing action.

Mid-Season Championship Night is Saturday, June 7th with a Mini Wedge "Schools Out Extravaganza" on Sunday, June 8th. The 3rd Annual Hall of Fame Night is on Saturday, June 14th which also welcomes in the Great Lakes Lightning Sprints and doubles as a Michigan Auto Racing Fan Club night. The Dan Salay Memorial Summer Classic is Thursday, June 19th through Saturday, June 21st offering $11K to win. GLSS returns on Saturday, June 28th giving Late Models and Mini Wedges the night off.


The Dan Salay Memorial rolls Crystal Motor Speedway into a huge month of July that begins on Thursday, July 3rd with a Fireworks Show and Australian Pursuits for the top 10 in all full size car divisions. A regular Saturday night show returns on Saturday, July 5th. Christmas in July is Saturday, July 12th with autographs in the pits and Santa Clause bringing presents for the kids. A Mud Bog is on Sunday, July 13th. The LeBo's Birthday Bash is Saturday, July 19th featuring a 35 lap Street Stock Special paying $2,242 to win. A third stop for the Great Lakes Super Sprints is Saturday, July 26th with Late Models and Mini Wedges taking the night off.


In August, the Great Lakes Lightning Sprints are scheduled on First Responder Night where those with a valid ID will get free entry. On August 9th, the Midwest Compact Touring Series sanctions the Sport Compacts and IMCA Modifieds take the night off. August 16th is the Ron Flinn 52 Late Model Special paying $2,552 to win the 35 lap special. Season Championship Night is Saturday, August 23rd. On Saturday, August 30th night number one of the Run What You Brung Weekend unfolds with another open tire rule late model show and the Great Lakes Lightning Sprints. Then on Sunday, the Great Lakes Super Sprints are back for the final time plus Outlaw Late Models can try to break the track record for $1,000 in four attempts.


A Motor State Mayhem Truck Show is scheduled for September 6th and a Mud Bog on September 7th. The Great Lakes Nationals is September 12th and 13th featuring $5,000 to win IMCA Modifieds, $4,000 to win Late Models, $2,000 to win Street Stocks and Pro Stocks, and $500 to win Sport Compacts.


A Mud Bog Nightmare Halloween Special closes out the season on October 25th.
