Cadillac, MI (Wednesday, March 31, 2021) - After a very successful inaugural season for the Allstar Performance Late Model Challenge Series, Mike Blackmer, Series owner/promoter has announced the returning of a title sponsor, as well as the new signing of a supporting sponsor for 2021.
Michigan-based Allstar Performance will once again return as the title sponsor for 2021. In addition, Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort will now take over as supporting sponsor, series promoter Mike Blackmer announced on Monday. Soaring Eagle will also continue their sponsorship of the UMP Late Model weekly division at Merritt Speedway.
“I really want to thank Soaring Eagle,” Blackmer said on a recent episode of Horsepower Happenings. “They fit right into that spot [as presenting sponsor]. We do also want to thank Lane Automotive/Allstar Performance, as they’re the signature sponsor of that series. It is exciting.”
The Allstar Performance Late Model Challenge Series Supported by Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort will see some increased payouts in the 2021 season. Most Challenge Series events at both Merritt and Tri City Motor Speedway will sport a $10,000 to win payday, along with a $13,000 check going to the series champion. The Challenge Series will kick off their 2021 campaign on April 30th at Tri City, and May 1st at Merritt.
